Start in 2026 SummerPhiladelphia Gas Works (PGW) is the largest municipally-owned gas utility in the nation, supplying gas service in the City of Philadelphia. They are seeking an Engineering Intern to work with Senior Staff Engineers to learn about engineering projects, including concept, design, development, and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities
Work with Senior Staff Engineers to learn the business processes, procedures, practices and regulations associated with coordination and performance of all aspects of engineering projects
Assist in various projects as directed to gain hands on knowledge
Qualification
Required
Be a full-time student enrolled in an accredited university or college
Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Proficiency in MS Office Suite
Knowledge of general engineering principles
Must be clean shaven at all times to comply with PGW's Respirator Readiness Policy
Steel toe safety boots required (no sneaker type)
