LEGAL EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
VaVa Virtual Assistants is a remote company based out of Atlanta, Georgia, specializing in connecting businesses with virtual professionals. They are seeking a skilled Legal Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive legal administrative support, manage client relationships, and ensure efficient execution of legal tasks.

Responsibilities
Organize, maintain, and manage legal documents and case files
Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorneys
Prepare, draft, and review legal documents and correspondence
Manage and coordinate schedules for legal meetings and court appearances
Handle professional communication with clients and external stakeholders
Assist in the preparation and organization of case files
Track case progress and ensure timely submission of documentation
Assist with billing and invoicing for legal services
Monitor compliance with court orders and legal requirements
Provide administrative support during trials, hearings, and depositions
Coordinate travel arrangements for attorneys
Ensure confidentiality of sensitive and confidential information
Maintain and manage client relationships with regular updates
Assist in the coordination and management of legal projects
Utilize legal-specific software and tools for document management and research
Other Executive Assistant responsibilities as requested
Qualification
Required
Must reside and be authorized to work in the United States
At least 5 years of the demonstrated experience outlined above
At least 5 years of experience working full-time in a virtual role
Available at least 20 hours per week to support high-touch (daily), deliverable-focused clients
Experience understanding and utilizing legal terminology and processes
Proficiency with legal research databases such as Westlaw or LexisNexis
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Experience with case management software (e.g., Clio, MyCase)
Familiarity with document management systems (e.g., iManage, NetDocuments)
Competence with calendaring and scheduling tools (e.g., Google Calendar, Outlook)
Knowledge of e-filing systems for courts and legal documents
Proficiency in video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams)
