The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) is seeking a Distributed Computer Systems Analyst to provide systems administration and support within the Desktop Operations team. The role involves installation, implementation, maintenance, and support of distributed computer systems and peripherals, ensuring efficient operation of desktop environments.

Installation, implementing, maintaining, and supporting distributed computer systems and peripherals, including hardware, software, and communications components

This position is subject to on-call and call-back to work, seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day, as needed, in the event of an outage or emergency, and is eligible for overtime pay

Selected candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred

Experience installing and supporting Windows Operating Systems

Experience troubleshooting and resolving technical incidents locally and remotely

Experience working on a technology team

A bachelor's degree or above from an accredited college or university with a major in one of the computer sciences or in management information systems (or)

A bachelor's degree or above from an accredited college or university (or) completion of a two-year program of study from a vocational / technical school or accredited community college in a computer science field (or) two years' experience working in a distributed systems environment

Experience using Microsoft Systems Center/SCCM

Experience using enterprise data protection and/or encryption solutions

Law Enforcement IT support

Experience using Active Directory

Experience using enterprise desktop deployment solutions

IT service desk/help desk experience including MS Office support

Experience supporting Windows 10 or higher

Experience with desktop and laptop hardware/configuration repairs
