Procurement Manager

Travel + Leisure Co. is the world’s leading vacation ownership and travel membership company, and they are seeking a Procurement Manager responsible for overseeing the procurement of FF&E for renovation projects. The role involves managing procurement activities, financial planning, vendor relationships, and ensuring successful project execution within budget and timeline.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage all activities related to procurement from intent to purchase through delivery and turnover. Must meet deliverables in scope, schedule and budget for renovations for vacation ownership properties
Review, quantify, and bid project specifications with appropriately aligned vendors to determine the best supplier
Financial planning and cost management, improving efficiencies, and tracking purchases and savings for each individual project
Track and report on procurement and expediting, and ensure complete and timely delivery of the FF&E
Develop and foster relationships with vendors and identify new vendors for approval
Maintain Brand Standards with vendors, Designers and Project Management
Be responsible for implementing standard commodities and pricing while focusing on one general commodity to provide oversite and expertise to other team members
Develop relationships with teammates through collaboration and communication to create a cost effective and efficient project management environment

Required

Bachelor's degree requested
4+ years of experience purchasing in a timeshare or hospitality or construction environment
Demonstrates professionalism and positive attitude
Demonstrate negotiation skills with proven track record of achieving year to year cost reductions and lead time reductions
Must be extremely flexible and able to successfully manage multiple simultaneous projects and tasks
Must possess good judgment and independent decision-making abilities
Monitors possible risk, able to identify the underlying reasons or facts and develop mitigation plans
Strong analytical, organization, finance negotiation, project management and presentation skills
Solid understanding of ethical procurement practices
Promotes good customer service both internal and external
Possess excellent communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft applications
