Responsibilities

Build, lead, and manage the commercial operations function to support launch readiness and ongoing commercial execution
Develop a scalable operational infrastructure aligned with the organization's growth strategy
Develop, implement, and manage the commercial drug sampling program in compliance with regulatory requirements
Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, IT, Compliance, and Medical Affairs to align operational strategies and execution
Serve as a strategic business partner, providing insights and data-driven recommendations to senior leadership
Partner with IT to design and execute U.S. marketing and sales technology platforms to support launch activities
Deploy, optimize, and oversee the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to enable effective field operations, data insights, and customer engagement
Oversee system administration and process optimization for Legal, Medical, and Regulatory (LMR) review and approvals
Oversee field team operations including internal meeting logistics, planning, and execution
Lead design and execution of field fleet programs supporting effective regional coverage
Partner with Sales leadership on incentive compensation (IC) design, implementation, and ongoing measurement and reporting
Ensure clear, consistent, and effective field communications across all commercial team members

Required

Bachelor's degree required
7+ years of commercial experience within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
3+ years of direct experience in a commercial operations leadership role with direct responsibility over Field Incentive Compensation
Deep understanding of U.S. commercial operations infrastructure, including CRM, data systems, sales operations, and compliance processes
Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated success leading cross-functional project teams in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Ability to influence without direct authority and build strong relationships across the organization
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and strategic alignment
Willing to share, debate, challenge, defend your ideas
Courage to embrace and lead change
Demonstrated ability to succeed in a startup or pre-commercial biotech environment, with a strong execution mindset: plan → organize → execute
Travel Required – 25%

Preferred

MBA or advanced degree preferred
Demonstrated success supporting or leading a biotech product launch preferred
Experience in building teams and infrastructure from the ground up in a pre-commercial or early-stage organization is highly desirable
