Manager, Merchandising Distributors

Responsibilities
Develop and share expert knowledge of the Global consumer and marketplace
Be the voice of Distributors in presentations, meetings and conversations both internally with Global Product teams, and the voice of Global with our regional teams and distributors
Understand segmentation and different consumer types, organize this into clear knowledge of product and behavior
Lead and support by showing a clear knowledge of consumer needs, and present confidently product strategies/assortments aligned to those needs
Create and present seasonal visual assortment plans for key channels and customers across our Global distributor network
Partner closely with Global DTC teammates to ensure continuity in assortments and instore execution across the monobrand store fleet
Deliver presentations and content that clearly articulate priorities and key products and inspire and motivate stakeholders
Through formal and informal communication, deliver strong messages about Merchandising plans
Define channels and create strong segmentation plans that are designed to grow the overall market for the Crocs consumer
Build store capacity-based recommendations balancing commercial and brand priorities
Focus on productivity and efficiency. Edit and focus stories and product offerings to tell bigger messages
Forecasting through historical sales and insights of future trends
Ability to read and interpret sales data and analytics to gain strong understanding of consumer and trends
Effectively digest and clearly communicate to creation teams insights and actions from the data
Pricing and margin analysis to ensure profitability and sustainable growth
Implement guidelines that build a Merchant culture that is data-driven and consumer-focused
Integrate regional merchandising team input on pre-season assortment needs, opportunities and gaps; Communicate ‘voice of the consumer’ feedback to the product team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business or related field
5+ years of merchandising experience preferred. Experience in the apparel/footwear industry is a plus
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Presentation Skills: Is effective in a variety of formal presentation settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, with peers, and manager
Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and Power Point)
Ability to work closely with cross-functional team members effectively and strive toward a unified vision
Ability to manage multiple projects at once
Ability to work effectively across multiple international time zones to support global teams and stakeholders
Excellent emotional intelligence and social skills to engage and interact with stakeholders from different cultural backgrounds effectively
