Aircraft Electrician - RAFB
Tyonek Native Corp is involved in supporting military aircraft operations, and they are seeking an Aircraft Electrician to assist in the repair and manufacturing operations for various aircraft. The role involves troubleshooting, modifying, and repairing complex aircraft electrical systems, as well as performing functional testing and operating testing equipment.

Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, modify calibrate and repair of complex aircraft electrical systems and equipment such as electrical power control and distribution systems, lighting systems, refueling and fuel quantity indicating systems, etc
Perform final functional and operational testing of these systems
Replace defective controls units, relay boards, servo units, or other components
Set up and operate computerized multiple circuit analyzing equipment to test and analyze circuitry and interconnected cabling of systems
Interpret and apply a variety of technical information such as technical orders, repair manuals, schematics, etc concerning wire codes, wiring configuration and testing procedures
Set-up and operate computer controlled automated test equipment (ATE)
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must have at least two years of recent verifiable experience
Knowledge of operating electrical principles
Knowledge of interface of electrical systems with hydraulic, electronic armament, instrument, and mechanical systems
Experience using hand and electrical test units, meters, oscilloscopes, etc
Experience in reading schematics and wiring diagrams
Must be a US Citizen
Must be able to pass a background check, which could include a criminal history and credit check for access to Government facilities
Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance within nine (9) months of employee's start date
This position falls under Executive Order 14042, and may require fully vaccinated status
We maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing
Must be able to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for certain periods throughout the day
Must be able to climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands
Must be able to crouch, crawl, grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders
May be required to lift up to 50 pounds
May be required to read dials/gauges, identify small objects and hand tools
Must be able to see imperfections, micrometer readings and other small scales
Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sound by ear
Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth
May be required to operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, fork lift, APU, etc
