Senior Principal Systems Engineer
Raytheon is a company focused on helping the nation and allies defend freedoms and deter aggression. They are seeking a Senior Principal Systems Engineer to support the SPY-6 Family of Radars by defining customer needs, product architecture, and executing system integration and analysis activities.

Responsibilities
Develop concepts of operations for radar systems
Radar processing algorithm development
Radar software requirements development
Statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data
Analysis tool development in support of problem identification and resolution
Working with Systems and Software Engineers to develop and implement solutions
Present findings and solutions to Leadership and/or Customers
Willingness for occasional travel to support mission execution at various facilities and test sites. Travel will be minimal, approximately 5%
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience
Experience with systems: software, hardware, requirements, integration, and/or test
Experience with MATLAB
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Active and existing security clearance required on day 1
Preferred
Experience with design, development, and analysis of radar system and software architecture on DoD systems
Experience with signal processing techniques in complex propagation environments
Design experience in the following radar system areas: antenna, receiver/exciter, waveforms, digital beamforming, multi-sensor track management and data fusion, adaptive signal processing, clutter mitigation techniques, electronic attack and electronic protect, sensor resource management and mission planning
Experience with C++, Python, or similar
Experience in developing and managing requirements, including use of DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo or other digital engineering tools
Experience with technical writing and oral presentations
Masters/PhD Degree in STEM field
