SCCM System Administrator
Cynet Systems is seeking an SCCM System Administrator to manage and support the agency’s MDT and MECM/SCCM infrastructure. The role focuses on ensuring reliable endpoint management, software distribution, patching, and compliance with security standards.

Responsibilities
Administer, design, deploy, maintain, secure, monitor, and support MDT and MECM/SCCM infrastructure
Ensure reliable software distribution, patching, reporting, and operating system deployments
Analyze agency software versioning requirements and lead implementation of software specifications
Configure application deployments for endpoint devices to meet technical requirements
Improve endpoint compliance, security posture, and operational efficiency
Monitor MECM/SCCM infrastructure performance, event logs, and conduct routine security practices
Provide operational support, documentation, and knowledge transfer
Apply and maintain security controls using industry best practices
Support and adhere to established change management processes
Maintain awareness of security compliance changes and processes
Identify risks and communicate risks to IT leadership and relevant stakeholders
Develop and maintain technical documentation in alignment with agency policies and security standards
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years of enterprise-level MECM/SCCM and MDT administration experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience with Windows operating system deployments, software deployments, and image refreshes
Minimum of 5 years of experience with Software Update Points and WSUS integrations with SQL Server
Experience with Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365 administration, Microsoft Intune co-management, and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
Strong experience with Client methods including Active Directory systems, users, groups, and hybrid environments
Hands-on experience managing MECM/SCCM hierarchies including CAS, primary, and secondary site configurations
Experience with boundary groups, site systems, distribution points, and content strategies
Experience working in high availability environments
Experience troubleshooting hardware platforms and validating global issue resolutions
Advanced knowledge of DNS, DHCP, PXE, and related protocols
Strong understanding of hardware and software inventory management
Excellent organizational, time management, and attention to detail skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with IT teams, business users, and vendors
Ability to comply with IT policies, standard operating procedures, disaster recovery, business continuity, and incident response requirements
Good understanding of image testing, issue tracking, sign-off processes, and standard imaging tools
Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience
Microsoft Certified Professional
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
Microsoft Azure Administrator
Network+ certification
Preferred
Expert-level knowledge of Windows infrastructure, logging, and event handling
Strong working knowledge of client settings, deployment strategies, and third-party software support
Advanced experience with compliance settings, baselines, and client health
Expert-level PowerShell scripting skills including automation, logon scripts, and optimizations
Expert experience with automated deployments of operating systems, drivers, group policies, and task sequences
