ADMINISTRATIVE TECHNICIAN - WAREHOUSE
The City of Fort Worth is one of the fastest growing large cities in the U.S., and they are seeking an Administrative Technician to support its Field Operations Division. This role involves providing essential administrative support, managing vendor relations, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization
Providing staff support, including serving as backup for other staff positions in their absence and performing related duties as assigned
Demonstrating customer focus, teamwork and adaptability to a rapidly changing and fast-paced environment as well as communicating clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
Maintaining vendor relations
Working with vendors to get field staff the services they need to complete their work
Work independently while actively participating in a team environment
Adhere to assigned work schedule as outlined in the Department and City attendance policies and procedures; ensures all behaviors comply with the City’s Personnel Rules and Regulations
Troubleshoot issues for positive outcomes
Full time position working in office team environment
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in Business, Business Administration, Finance, Public Administration, Office Administration or a related field
Minimum Two (2) years of clerical and administrative experience
Strong organizational skills, time management, attention to detail and follow-through, and experience handling multiple priorities, projects, and other administrative tasks assigned
Ensure smooth operations and adherence to established policies and procedures
Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders, contributing to a positive and effective work environment
Preferred
Previous administrative experience with a large municipality
Previous experience working with Maximo (or similar work order management systems)
Intermediate to Advanced skills with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Knowledge of PeopleSoft (or similar procurement systems)
Experience in vendor management and procurement
Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on customer service, documentation, and report preparation
