Benefits Analyst

LHH is a company seeking a Benefits Analyst to manage enrollment, eligibility, and disability documentation for union members. The role involves providing customer service, communicating benefit policies, and maintaining accurate records while supporting compliance and department initiatives.

Responsibilities

Process enrollment, eligibility, and disability documentation for union members
Provide excellent customer service by phone and in person
Communicate benefit policies, regulations, and program requirements clearly and professionally
Review and process plan applications and related documents
Support compliance and respond to legal inquiries (e.g., child support orders)
Perform lobby reception duties as needed
Maintain accurate data entry and records across systems
Assist with reports, special projects, and department-wide initiatives
Work collaboratively with supervisors, managers, and the Associate Director of Benefits

Required

2+ year of experience in an employee benefits or related administrative environment
Spanish bilingual fluency (required)
Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) and general computer applications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills across phone, email, and in-person interactions
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment
Calm, self-motivated, and professional under pressure
High level of accuracy, detail orientation, and analytical thinking
Strong data entry skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to confidentiality and responsible handling of sensitive information
Strong interpersonal skills for working effectively with members, employees, and other departments
