Responsibilities
Validates and distributes foreign exchange rates to designated ASB teams/personnel on a daily basis; reconciles foreign banknote buy/sell transactions, ensuring entries are accurately captured and balanced
Coordinates foreign currency inventory dispatching
Reviews and verifies commercial clients’ international wire transfer requests ensuring the wire information is correct; processes the wires for approval before daily cutoff
Assesses and reports suspicious wire activities to department manager
Reviews and processes letters of credit entries, foreign items OFAC checking, incoming and outgoing documentary collections and clean collections according to ICC Publication #522
Ensures letters of credit files are completed and updated in accordance with the defined schedule
Provides support to Branch teammates on matters related to international service transactions
Processes foreign currency orders; contact customers to verify order and report any suspicious and unusual activity to BSA
Qualification
Required
Minimum one (1) to two (2) years of experience with International banking services, including wire transfers, letters of credit, foreign exchange and foreign item services
Customer service experience
Ability to complete work within deadlines and complete tasks with accuracy
Demonstrates organizational skills, with significant attention to detail
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
