Responsibilities
Assist current institutional and business analysts in creating institutional reports combining recruitment/applicant data and enrollment data (housed in Colleague)
Work with the current institutional analyst on simplifying and automating current and requested institutional reports, such as the inquiry-to-enrollment funnel
Work with the current institutional analyst on creating data elements focusing on academic reporting
Assist in validating data reports and correct potential inconsistencies statistically
Assist current institutional and business analysts in data cleaning efforts
Take on a pivotal role in creating enrollment, retention, and graduation dashboards for Senior Leadership, deans, program directors, faculty, and other staff
Assist in predictive modeling and other types of ad-hoc data analysis projects
Qualification
Required
Solid proficiency in Python, including Pandas, for analyzing, validating, and categorizing datasets with possible redundancies and inconsistencies
Ability to programmatically validate data reporting results and flag potential inconsistencies statistically
Experience using Tableau to implement visualized and interactive reporting dashboards
Ability to write and interpret complex SQL for data retrieval
Ability to abstract information requirements from real-world data requests
Knowledge of using PowerPoint and Word to create data reports
Ability to multitask, set priorities, and work efficiently
Excellent communication
At least 1 year of work experience in data analysis
