Mid LevelWorx-ai is seeking an experienced Python Developer to design, build, and maintain production-grade applications and services. The ideal candidate will take ownership of systems from design to deployment and maintenance, ensuring performance and reliability.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Python applications and services used in production
Write clean, maintainable, and testable Python code
Debug, profile, and optimize existing systems for performance and reliability
Collaborate with product, DevOps, and frontend teams to deliver features end-to-end
Build and consume REST APIs and/or background workers
Write unit tests and integration tests; participate in code reviews
Diagnose and resolve production issues using logs, metrics, and monitoring tools
Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making
Follow security best practices and contribute to improving engineering standards
Qualification
Required
Strong proficiency in Python (3.x) with real production experience
Solid understanding of Python internals (memory management, GIL, concurrency)
Experience with at least one Python framework: Backend: Django, Flask, FastAPI or async frameworks (e.g., asyncio-based systems)
Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL
Familiarity with ORMs (Django ORM, SQLAlchemy) and query optimization
Experience writing tests using pytest, unittest, and mocking techniques
Understanding of RESTful API design
Experience using Git and participating in code reviews
Comfortable debugging real production issues
Knowledge of Docker and containerized deployments
Familiarity with Azure cloud platform
Experience with message queues or background jobs (Celery, RabbitMQ, Kafka)
