Responsibilities
Contribute directly to design and development of Informatics products
Assist in maintaining and prioritizing product roadmaps
Translate stakeholder needs and business questions into effective visual analytics solutions
Optimize Tableau performance through efficient data modeling, extract, and query tuning
Apply data visualization best practices to ensure clarity, usability, and consistency
Collaborate with data engineering teams to define data requirements and improve data quality
Implement row-level security, permissions, and governance standards in Tableau Server/Cloud
Troubleshoot and resolve dashboard, data, and performance issues
Document dashboard logic, data definitions, and development standards
Support end users through training, documentation, and ongoing enhancements
Participate in factfinding sessions to understand specific client needs and recommend solutions
Ensure internal understanding of client needs for bids or direct sales
Ensure proposals align with determined needs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree required in a field related to informatics, analytics, or technology
Experience creating and deploying dashboards
Experience with Tableau Server or Tableau Cloud administration and deployment
Proven experience developing dashboards and reports using Tableau Desktop
Experience with Tableau API
Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases and data warehouses
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project, Clickup, SmartSheet)
Basic understanding of technical terminology and concepts related to safety, security, IT infrastructure, data management, informatics, and analytics
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for various audiences
High attention to detail and accuracy
Proactive problem-solving abilities and resourcefulness in finding solutions
Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive technical and business information
Preferred
Previous experience in public safety, healthcare, education, or security sectors
Experience with budget tracking and financial reporting tools
Knowledge of compliance requirements such as HIPAA, FERPA, CJIS, and other government security standards
