Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives
Write clear and detailed user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria
Maintain and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, stakeholder input, and alignment with the roadmap
Engage in all agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Facilitate communication between the engineering team and stakeholders
Adjust and refine user stories based on feedback and any changes to requirements
Provide clarifications and answer queries from the engineering team regarding requirements
Work closely with developers to ensure understanding of user stories and acceptance criteria
Identify and address any impediments that may impact feature delivery
Assist in maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder needs
Translate business concepts and requirements into detailed user stories and technical specifications
Work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of product features
Facilitate clear communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, bridging gaps to ensure mutual understanding
Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to continuously enhance product development processes
Utilize data to inform product decisions, identify opportunities for improvement, and proactively seek answers to complex questions
Ensure all product documentation is up-to-date and accurately reflects current features and functionalities
Qualification
Required
Must be authorized to work in the US
No visa sponsorship
1-3 years of experience as a product owner or similar role within a technical environment
Proven ability to write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria
Familiarity with agile methodologies and software development life cycles
Strong communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Product Management and Agile Trainings or Certifications are a plus
Experience with the Atlassian Suite including Jira and Confluence
