Responsibilities
Be an effective leader by demonstrating characteristics that are consistent with our vision, mission, and core values
Display a professional appearance and handle all customer situations in a professional manner
Coach and develop staff members to demonstrate characteristics consistent with our vision, mission and core values
Work with loan processors on loan documentation issues as needed
Promote the insurance and securities divisions of our organization
Support a sales culture in and throughout the bank and continue to develop personal cross-selling skills
Collect all types of past due loans utilizing various appropriate communication methods
Meet all compliance guidelines regarding handling foreclosures and repossessions, as well as understanding and overseeing liquidation process of collateral
Accurately and objectively document staff members’ performance by utilizing the performance plan model provided by HR
Participate in business development by being prepared to call on existing and prospective customers
Give prompt, courteous attention to all customers to meet their financial needs
Be a community banker by being involved in community development and various civic clubs
Assist retail staff with questions regarding loan accounts and handling of customers as needed
Qualification
Required
3 to 5 Years of Consumer/Real Estate and/or Commercial Lending preferred
Strong problem-solving skills
Understanding of compliance aspects of lending, i.e., HMDA, RESPA, Fair Lending, Reg B, Reg O, Flood Determination, Reg Z, CRA
Excellent decision-making skills
Superior oral communication abilities
Understanding of compliance aspects of banking, i.e., BSA, Privacy, OFAC, Security, Reg CC, Reg DD, Reg E, Patriot Act
Strong skills in written communication
Credit analysis knowledge
Strong organizational skills
Four-years college is encouraged
Working knowledge of technology required
Time management skills
