Responsibilities
Define and drive the product security strategy, ensuring defenses are built into architecture, systems, and workflows from the ground up
Build platform-wide security capabilities
Lead threat modeling and architecture reviews to secure both new and existing features
Partner with engineering teams to design secure APIs, data flows, and authentication systems that scale to millions of users
Enable developers with secure-by-default frameworks, tooling, and practices that accelerate delivery without compromising safety
Track and apply cutting-edge security research to stay ahead of emerging attack techniques
Mentor engineers across the organization on secure coding, design trade-offs, and operational security
Qualification
Required
4+ years of experience in software or security engineering, with scope in securing large-scale, user-facing platforms
Proven success building systems to detect, mitigate, and prevent adversarial behavior
Hands-on expertise embedding security features into high-traffic production systems
Node.js, TypeScript, React experience
