Responsibilities
Provides executive level strategy, direction, and leadership to the division and within RPU overall
Responsible for the planning, development and implementation in finance, accounting, procurement/contract administration, insurance, materials management, process improvement, training and development at the utility
Development and adherence to financial, accounting, procurement controls and standards
Oversight of the external financing requirements of the utility
Reports to the Assistant General Manager – Administration
Requires the use of considerable independent judgement, discretion, and initiative in carrying out responsibilities
Qualification
Required
Executive level strategy, direction, and leadership experience in finance, accounting, procurement/contract administration, insurance, materials management, process improvement, training and development
Experience in planning, development, and implementation of financial, accounting, and procurement controls and standards
Ability to oversee external financing requirements of a utility
Demonstrated use of considerable independent judgement, discretion, and initiative in carrying out responsibilities
