Responsibilities
Responsible for all structural engineering by doing calculation and or checking design calculations prepared by others
Prepare design layouts and sometimes complete drawings
Prepare calculations using existing spreadsheets as well as STADD calculation program
Prepare drawings using AutoCad normally 2D but occasionally 3D
Interface closely with other engineers and designers on various projects
Check and sign off on structural design drawings calculation for all projects undertaken by our organization
Obtain PE license for locations outside Ohio if required
Qualification
