Responsibilities

Formulates and supervises programs relative to selection, training, promotion, welfare, and other employer/employee relationships
Interviews job applicants
Develops personnel record forms
Adjusts disputes and grievances, and recommends necessary disciplinary actions
Analyzes, classifies, and evaluates jobs
Administers employee welfare and recreation services
Serves as an adviser to executive staff in personnel implications of policies, programs, and proposed organization changes

Required

3 years of related healthcare experience required
Must be familiar with the organization and functions of various departments, current personnel practices and techniques including review techniques, training methods, and job analysis
Knowledge of state and federal wage and hour requirements
Familiar with Joint Commission and HFAP standards

Preferred

Bachelor's degree preferred
Master's degree preferred
Familiar with the labor market, laws, wage and hour regulations, and ERISA guidelines preferred
