Responsibilities

Oversees the daily operations of the Co-Occurring Residential Facility
Provides after-hours support and shift coverage as needed
Responsible for hiring, training performance reviews, and ensuring adequate shift coverage for assigned staff
Monitors for adherence to approved workflows and agency policies
Ensures compliance with Department of Health, Joint Commission and other regulatory body requirements
Monitors the financial performance of the program, to include census, clients without coverage and insurance denials
Ensures monthly and quarterly reporting per agency and contract requirements is completed
Effectively and legally interviews applicants and makes appropriate staff selections
Follows policies and procedures for corrective action relating to staff performance
Provides sound supervision to all direct reports which include appropriate and frequent performance feedback
Supports employees in skill development and goal attainment
Completes performance evaluations in a timely and thorough manner
Appropriately utilizes the Human Resources Department as needed and required
Works collaboratively within a dyad leadership model to confirm that services meet or exceed accreditation, regulatory, contractual, and payor requirements, as well as internal agency standards
Develops and implements timely and appropriate Plans of Correction in response to identified deficiencies
Ensures the quality of clinical service delivery through clinical interventions and by partnering with clinical leadership to support the application of evidence-based interventions and treatment protocols
Ensures outcome metrics are routinely reviewed, communicated, and tied to program improvement plans
Participates in the development and implementation of clinical, and administrative policies and procedures
Maintains current knowledge of applicable WAC and RCW requirements to ensure ongoing compliance and alignment with regulatory changes
Ensures a skilled and sustainable workforce by providing staff with training, development, and support resources
Promotes engagement and morale to enhance retention and maintain the capacity to deliver high-quality, effective services
Monitors workforce KPIs such as turnover, retention, training completion, and employee engagement scores
Conducts and documents on-going clinical supervision consistent with Comprehensive Healthcare’s policies and procedures, and consistent with the requirements for the supervised employee’s professional credentials
Assesses clinical skills, gives constructive feedback, and provides (or arranges for) training and coaching to promote the development of technical skills, therapeutic approaches, and strength-based interventions appropriate for the client population served
Creates a continuing education plan and designs and tracks learning objectives to support new skill development consistent with job requirements
Provides direction, supervision, coaching, training and regular performance feedback to build employee skills and support progress toward goals
Creates training and development plans to support new employees to be successful
Assists with the development of the team budget and monitors budget throughout the year
Monitors program plan adherence to ensure quality service delivery
Collaborates with the Human Resources Department on hiring, retention and corrective actions
Communicates relevant matters to direct reports timely and effectively
Initiates and maintains projects or programs consistent with policy

Required

Master's degree in Social Work or related degree in Behavioral Health, Business Administration, Public Health, or a closely related field
Substance Use Disorder Professional Certification with a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and previous leadership experience, can be considered in lieu of a Master's Degree
1 year of experience required working in a behavioral health setting required
Washington State Agency affiliated Counselor Registration
Driver's license and vehicle liability insurance

Preferred

Previous leadership experience preferred
Experience collaborating across disciplines and programs to meet the needs of varied client populations is desired
