Coordinator Workplace Compliance
JetBlue is seeking a Coordinator Workplace Compliance Immigration to provide administrative and operational support for their employment-based immigration and compliance activities. This role involves coordinating case documentation, tracking immigration status changes, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations while partnering with internal stakeholders and external Immigration Counsel.

Responsibilities
Coordinate employment-based immigration cases, including nonimmigrant visas and permanent residency filings, in partnership with external Immigration Counsel
Track visa expirations, extensions, amendments, and changes in employment status
Coordinate case documentation and communications with external immigration counsel
Assist with responses to government requests, audits, and inquiries related to immigration matters
Assist with maintaining compliance with US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Department of Labor (DOL), and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) requirements
Provide administrative support for Talent Acquisition and onboarding activities related to immigration
Attend new hire orientations as needed to support onboarding processes
Assist with internal compliance audits and reporting
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and recommend procedural improvements
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Legal Studies or a relevant field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience
One (1) year of administrative experience
Working knowledge of U.S. immigration laws and policies
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and diplomacy
Ability to be flexible, multi-task, prioritize, and manage multiple activities simultaneously in a fast-paced, changing environment
Strong team player with the ability to take initiative and work well independently
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive, confidential information
Effective written, verbal and presentation skills
Available for occasional overnight travel (20%)
Must pass a pre-employment drug test
Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
Preferred
One (1) year of visa related work experience
Valid certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR)
Prior experience supporting immigration or employment compliance
Experience with employment verification or compliance audits
Familiarity with E-Verify and government audit processes
Experience working with Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and Recruitment Management Systems (i.e. SAP/PeopleFluent)
Experience working with external vendors or legal counsel
Experience using Microsoft SharePoint
