Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute advanced verification and validation (V&V) test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and system level testing for embedded controllers, IoT devices, edge platforms, and integrated hardware/software solutions
Validate complex, networked building automation components and systems, including communication protocols (e.g., BACnet, Modbus, CAN, I2C/SPI), cloud connected devices, firmware driven modules, and real time control applications
Analyze detailed test results using logs, traces, diagnostic tools, and telemetry data; identify root causes; and deliver actionable recommendations to drive system level reliability and performance improvements
Develop and implement advanced test automation frameworks, using scripting languages (e.g., Python), CI/CD pipelines, containerized test environments, and virtualization to increase coverage, repeatability, and efficiency
Create automated validation pipelines that integrate REST APIs, hardware in the loop (HIL) systems, and data driven verification methodologies to support continuous deployment and continuous validation (CD/CV)
Collaborate with cross functional engineering teams (software, hardware, systems, cloud, cybersecurity, and quality) to ensure architectural alignment, interface compatibility, and successful feature delivery
Document and communicate test results, defects, traceability matrices, compliance artifacts, and risk assessments to technical stakeholders and program owners
Mentor and support junior engineers, sharing best practices in test design, debugging, automation engineering, and system integration testing
Support regulatory, standards, and certification readiness for relevant industry requirements (e.g., UL, IEC, ISO), including automated evidence generation and documentation maintenance
