Responsibilities
Work with Tax business teams and KPMG clients to identify and analyze business problems, provide technical feasibility estimates and develop innovative approaches
Solve mission critical business problems working alongside our top technology teams as well as the most complex technical challenges in the areas including but not limited to Cloud Computing, Web-Development, Intelligent Automation, Data Engineering, Analytics
Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain software solutions starting with broadly defined problems
Learn and acquire new skill set(s) as needed to create business solutions and keep abreast of latest tech trends
Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables within a collaborative environment while supporting the business and a variety of member firm clients within multiple industries
Qualification
Required
Must be pursuing and have obtained by the start date or have completed the following degrees/majors in the past 12 months: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Math, Statistics or equivalent program from an accredited college/university
Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above
Coursework and/or basic programming knowledge in .Net, C#, Python, Angular, TypeScript and/or JavaScript and/or Node JS is required; Knowledge of T-SQL and understanding of relational database concepts is preferred
Fundamental knowledge and exposure to one or more digital technologies such as Cloud Computing (Azure, GCP, AWS), Transformer architecture & LLM orchestration frameworks, Front end development with modern JavaScript frameworks, data processing and reporting with tools such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, PowerBI, Tableau, etc. preferred
Demonstrated quality service mindset; strong technical aptitude, critical thinking, quantitative skills and problem-solving skills and ability to navigate MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
Excellent communication, time management and leadership skills; flexible and adaptable team player; and resourceful in delivering high quality work
Must reside within a reasonably commutable distance to the office for this position and be able to travel to reasonably commutable work locations using own means of transportation, such as a personal vehicle or public transportation
Ability to travel and/or work on-site at client premises as needed, at times with relatively short notice
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
