Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain semantic data models, including taxonomies, ontologies, and enterprise knowledge graphs
Implement and apply semantic‑web standards and frameworks
Build, enhance, and manage knowledge graph platforms (e.g., Neo4j, GraphDB, Stardog) to support enterprise search, analytics, and AI use cases
Develop and maintain controlled vocabularies, metadata models, and domain ontologies
Perform data integration and mapping across diverse systems using ETL frameworks, semantic mapping tools, and data transformation techniques
Establish and enforce data governance, version control, and quality standards to ensure semantic assets are accurate, consistent, and scalable
Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to align semantic models with organizational data strategies and use cases
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience designing and implementing semantic data models, including taxonomies, ontologies, and knowledge graphs
Knowledge of: RDF/OWL, SKOS, SPARQL, and other semantic‑web standards and modeling frameworks
Hands‑on experience building and maintaining enterprise knowledge graphs using tools such as Neo4j, GraphDB, Stardog, or similar platforms
Proven ability to develop controlled vocabularies, metadata models, and domain ontologies
Skilled in data integration and mapping, using ETL frameworks or semantic mapping tools
Strong understanding of governance, versioning, and data quality principles to ensure consistency and long‑term maintainability of semantic assets
