Responsibilities
Assign and review the work of trades foremen, journeyman, helpers, and laborers working on varied projects
Plan and assign projects which have been approved by administrative superiors
Direct varied physical plant maintenance, modification and construction in carpentry, painting, plastering, electrical, plumbing, air conditioning and general maintenance work
Direct periodic preventive maintenance checks on a wide variety of mechanical and electrical machinery and equipment
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
Two years of experience supervising building maintenance operations or four years of experience as a building maintenance mechanic in an office building in excess of 40,000 square feet
