2+ years expCBPR is a growing PR agency based in Charleston, SC, seeking an Account Executive to manage their expanding portfolio of clients. The role involves developing communications materials, managing client deliverables, and maintaining relationships with media contacts.
Public Relations & Communications
Responsibilities
Development of on-brand communications materials including pitches, media briefs and social media content calendars
Creation of social media and other graphics using Canva
Proactively provides quality assurance for all client deliverables (e.g. proofreading, fact-checking, etc.)
Coordinate interviews and appearances to prepare clients with talking points, sample questions and reporter backgrounds
Submit clients for relevant industry awards
Maintain an understanding of the current media landscape including national mainstream news media outlets, specialized industry publications, and digital and social media developments
Work with senior team members to brainstorm creative partnership and event ideas
Represents and promotes the agency at industry/community events
Deliver quality account management deliverables such as monthly client plans and meeting recaps
Qualification
Required
Must be based in Charleston, SC or willing to relocate

2+ years of experience working at a PR/communications agency (agency work required)
Degree in Communication, Public Relations or related fields
Ability to develop media contacts/relationships
A strong understanding of traditional and online communication strategies
Strong understanding of target media and influencers for respective clients
Ability to write quickly and confidently with minimal edits
Ability to manage and coordinate multiple clients and projects simultaneously
Ability to manage time well and prioritize deadlines
Self-starter, highly motivated
