Responsibilities
Data entry, filing, and interaction with students, campus agencies, and the general public concerning registration, records maintenance, transcripts, and graduation
Assists students and the university community with registration issues, resolves concerns, and provides registration information
Records, monitors, and verifies required data and information into student database and information systems
Ensures compliance with university/office policies and procedures, and federal regulations to maintain the accuracy and integrity of academic records
Generates reports and statistics and performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Three years of general office experience or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience), one of which in an academic setting
Demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills
Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description
Preferred
2-3 years of data entry experience or related equivalency
Proficiency in the use of computer equipment and programs
Familiarity with PeopleSoft
