Responsibilities

Performs the more sophisticated calculations and work required for the design and structural analysis of nuclear components and related parts, materials, and equipment
Prepares and reviews reports and evaluates content for conformance to the requirements of CMC-49 and other contractual specifications
Maintains a general working knowledge of applicable code requirements and other applicable regulatory guides and standards
Maintains and updates standards for nuclear components and related equipment
May perform calculations and analyses in support of the development of new component designs, methods, and procedures
Prepares formal reports and studies for presentation within the Company and to customers

Required

B.S. or any equivalent combination of education and experience
Eight (8) years related experience
Experience in technical industrial environments is required
Complete assignments in accordance with engineering procedures, practices and standards, and good work practices
Applicants selected will be subject to a Federal background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information or matter
Position requires U.S. citizenship with (no dual citizenship) ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance which involves an extensive criminal and financial background investigation, drug test and previous employment reference verifications
