Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations including inventory management, lab support services, media preparation, chemical handling, and equipment maintenance
Ensure exceptional customer service and regulatory compliance
Implement improvement initiatives
Maintain safety standards
Serve as a key liaison between Thermo Fisher Scientific and our customers

Required

4 years of progressive experience in laboratory operations or scientific services environment
Experience managing small teams and supporting staff development
Strong knowledge of GxP requirements and laboratory safety protocols
Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office suite
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to write and maintain SOPs and work instructions
Experience with chemical handling, media preparation, and lab equipment
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Physical ability to lift/push/pull 30-50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
Willingness to wear required PPE including lab coats, safety glasses, etc
Ability to work in environments with chemical allergens and varied temperatures
Ability to work flexible hours as needed
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
Travel may be required up to 85% for some positions
Live within 50 miles of downtown Atlanta, GA

Preferred

Preferred Fields of Study: Biology, Chemistry, or related scientific field
GMP/GLP certification preferred
IATA/DOT hazardous materials certification preferred
