Responsibilities
Lead full-chip design execution for complex, multi-million-gate SoCs from RTL through GDSII
Oversee digital design development, including micro-architecture definition and RTL implementation
Manage design convergence activities across synthesis, timing closure, verification, and physical design
Coordinate IP integration, planning, and task tracking across all front-end design flows
Drive project milestones and ensure alignment between design, verification, and physical implementation teams
Collaborate closely with VCA and external partners, supporting manufacturing, testing, and productization
Provide day-to-day leadership, mentoring, and direction to small and medium-sized engineering teams
Qualification
Required
Minimum 15 years of hands-on experience in SoC architecture, micro-architecture, and RTL design
Expertise with industry-standard bus protocols (AHB, AXI) and experience with relevant IP such as USB, SDCC; knowledge of memory controllers, microprocessors, and chip I/O is advantageous
Proficiency with Synopsys Design Compiler, timing closure methodologies, and formal verification tools (e.g., Cadence LEC)
Strong ability to evaluate top-level test plans, make effective decisions with incomplete information, and drive cross-functional alignment
Demonstrated leadership and communication skills with a strong track record of guiding multidisciplinary engineering teams
