Hennig is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure compliance with engineering and customer specifications. The role involves conducting inspections and testing of materials and finished products while adhering to safety policies.

Responsibilities
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook
Inspect components and assemblies to ensure compliance with engineering and customer specifications
Provide direction and guidance to other company personnel
Reads and interprets mechanical blueprints accurately
Conduct thorough inspections and testing of materials and finished products
Utilize precision measurement tools, such as calipers & tape measures to verify product dimensions
Document complete unit assemblies via photographs and maintain a digital project photo archive
Other duties as assigned
Perform quality inspections of plenums, stacks, and plenum bases
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/GED required
1-2 years' Manufacturing experience preferred
Prior quality experience required
Must be able to read and understand English
Ability to follow verbal directions and work independently with minimal supervision
Define and implement quality standards for manufactured products
Knowledgeable of complete generator assembly
Recommend adjustments and improvements to production processes for enhanced quality
Effectively Identify and remove non-conforming products and propose strategies for quality improvement
Evaluate finished products against quality criteria and communicate inspection results to the production team
Perform random inspections to assess and maintain consistent product quality
Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Exhibits meticulous attention to detail
Proficient in interpreting blueprints, both mechanical and electrical, technical documents, and manuals
Possesses strong foundational math and computer skills
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in written
Proficient in using torque wrenches, borescopes, color eye, paint thickness testers, tape measures, and calipers, including metric scales
Demonstrates knowledge of generator assembly processes, operational principles, and customer requirements
Verifies component labeling on fuel tanks and bases for accuracy
