Responsibilities
Simulate, construct, and commission photon detector for Compton polarimeter
Collaborate with the staff and users to commission, collect data, and perform analysis for the MOLLER experiment
Develop, propose, and help carry-out medium energy nuclear physics experiments
Work on the publication and presentation of results in top tier journals and at major scientific conferences
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in experimental nuclear or particle physics
Up-to-date knowledge in related scientific data collection, data management, and data analysis concepts
Ability to communicate clearly in writing (e.g. email, memos, explanations, drawings) and explain work to his/her supervisor and scientists
Ability to interacts well with work group and team environment
Self-motivated and can represent work associated with specific projects at professional meetings
