Responsibilities
Work directly with a Lead Mechanical Engineer on new product and continuation development
Develop CAD models/drawings and prototype using 3D printing and machining
Execute prototype testing for integrity and environmental conditions
Discover and explore new interests in your field prior to graduation
Apply learned technical skills from the classroom to real world engineering projects
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Zero (0) years of related experience
Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) in-person (Eden Prairie, MN), June 2026- December 2026
Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred
Junior or senior status preferred
Knowledge of CAD systems, Solidworks preferred
Understanding of basic Machining/3D printing principles
Basic knowledge of material properties (materials science)
Understanding of GD&T
Ability to use Matlab and Ansys Workbench FEA
