Responsibilities
Approve journal entries submitted by others using NetSuite automated workflow
Prepare and upload monthly journal entries and the related supporting documents. A number of these entries are Intercompany entries with various currencies
Reconcile general ledger accounts monthly, including bank reconciliations
Prepare quarterly and annual schedules for internal and external audit, the tax department, and the external reporting function
Develop and maintain knowledge of various financial and reporting systems
Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes
Other tasks, projects and ad hoc research as assigned by the Accounting Manager
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
0 – 2 years of accounting experience
Demonstrated technical proficiency in MS applications
Sound understanding of accounting concepts
Strong attention to detail
Strong team player with ability to communicate across various groups/teams
Effective written and oral communication skills
Preferred
Knowledge of NetSuite or comparable ERP financial applications is a plus
