The role involves performing routine and advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of highly automated manufacturing equipment to support production efficiency and equipment reliability.

Responsibilities
Perform routine, preventive (PM), and corrective maintenance on complex automated manufacturing equipment
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
Monitor production performance including quality, downtime, and waste
Analyze equipment issues and make effective repair decisions using sound judgment
Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and equipment diagrams
Use precision measuring instruments and calibration techniques
Document maintenance activities using PC-based tools
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational goals
Maintain a positive attitude and strong teamwork in a production environment
Qualification
Required
Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days
Ability to maintain consistent attendance, especially during the first 90 days
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment requiring sustained focus and attention to detail
Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills
Ability to read and interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics
Experience working with automated manufacturing equipment
Proficiency with multimeters and sensor technology
Knowledge of power transmission systems (gearboxes, motors, belts, chain drives)
Electrical troubleshooting from low-level signals up to 480 VAC
Understanding of trades mathematics and precision measurement
Basic PC skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
Strong time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
Flexible and adaptable to varying equipment, processes, and assignments
Preferred
Experience troubleshooting Industrial Control Systems (PLC, ladder logic, relay logic, VFDs, servos)
Knowledge of robotics and vision systems
Mechanical design experience (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)
Experience using SAP or other computerized maintenance management systems
Hands-on experience with mill, lathe, welding, bearing press, or similar equipment
