Responsibilities

Setup, conduct and analyze standard field and laboratory tests following prescribed procedures
Performing testing and inspection of soil/aggregates, concrete, masonry, rebar, and bituminous pavement in the field and laboratory
Ensure that all testing equipment, work vehicles, and tools are properly calibrated and maintained
Communicate with Clients, Technicians, and Project Managers on a professional level to ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualification

MNDOT certificationsMaterials testing experienceConstruction knowledgeLift 50lbs

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license
Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis

Preferred

MNDOT certifications in soil preferred; examples include Aggregate Production and Grading and Base, Bituminous Street and Bituminous Plant, Concrete Field, ACI
Related work experience in materials testing or construction preferred
