Summer Program - Teaching Fellow
Brewster Academy is seeking Teaching Fellows for the Royal Thai Scholars program, designed as an introduction to the teaching profession in private, independent schools. The role involves mentoring, instructing, and supervising students while assisting in various educational and recreational activities.

Responsibilities
Assisting in and potentially teaching classes
Leading conversation groups
Developing recreational activities and field trips
Driving 14-passenger mini-buses
Supervising dorms
Planning and teaching under the supervision of experienced faculty members
Leading small group discussions
Grading
Running warm-up activities
Conferencing with students on papers
Providing homework assistance
Working with small groups of students in sessions about American culture
Commenting on culture journals and college essay drafts
Planning, implementing and introducing sports/recreational activities
Running weekly dorm meetings
Maintaining a check-in schedule
Qualification
Required
Twenty-one years of age or older with a valid US driver's license required
Strong communication skills
A sense of humor
A keen interest in working with international students
Exceptional writing skills
Ability to assist with editing essays written by intermediate to highly proficient ELL students
Strong work ethic
Enthusiasm
Cultural sensitivity
Leadership
Desire to engage in collective work
Preferred
