Responsibilities

Develop and execute product line strategies, including market positioning, value propositions, and competitive differentiation
Lead product portfolio planning and governance through stage-gate reviews, prioritizing initiatives aligned with business objectives
Oversee and coach a high-performing team of product managers; provide direction, mentoring, and career development
Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, R&D, and Finance to deliver profitable growth and operational excellence
Drive go-to-market planning and execution, encompassing pricing, customer segmentation, promotions, and launch strategy
Champion customer insight integration and market intelligence to identify new product opportunities and whitespace
Manage product lifecycle processes, including SKU rationalization, performance tracking, and profitability improvement
Deliver strong marketing support for Sales, including product tools, training, and customer presentations
Build strong external relationships with key customers to understand business challenges and identify value creation opportunities
Monitor competitive trends and market shifts to recommend strategic adjustments and ensure Sabert’s leadership position
Travel up to 20% as needed to customer sites, trade shows, and manufacturing facilities

Required

Strong business acumen with proven success in product management, marketing strategy, and P&L ownership
Expertise in pricing strategy, financial analysis, and portfolio optimization
Exceptional leadership abilities with experience managing and developing direct reports
Superior communication, collaboration, and influencing skills across all levels of the organization
Strong project management and decision-making skills with the ability to execute in fast-paced, matrixed environments
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems is a plus
Entrepreneurial mindset with initiative, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous improvement
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field required; MBA strongly preferred
Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in B2B product management or marketing
Demonstrated success launching new products and managing product line profitability

Experience in food packaging, consumer goods, or a manufacturing environment preferred
