Responsibilities

Establishing and promoting a culture of safety within the specific sites assigned

Overseeing EHS protocols at a specific site, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of workplace safety and health

Conducting regular audits, providing training, and implementing EHS programs to minimize risks and reduce workplace accidents

Collaborating with various departments and site leadership teams to support the organization’s commitment to safety

Required

OSHA 30 required

Minimum 3 years prior experience working within the heavy industrial construction industry, including manufacturing, pipeline, mining, food and beverage, power, and refining environments with at least 2 years in a safety role

Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, standards, and other applicable codes/regulations

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to assess potential hazards and risks within operations and develop and implement strategies to mitigate them effectively

MSHA Certification or background preferred
