Responsibilities

Drive, manage, and execute the business and revenue plan of a sales region
Recruit, hire and train Area Sales Managers members
Prepare forecasts, territory management, and growth plans
Identify and generate new leads through research, networking, and referrals
Travel within the regional territory to work with your team to generate prospects, build trusted relationships with prospective customers, demonstrate our product, and close business
Enforce the sales process, from initial contact through demo, contract negotiation, and closing
Effectively utilize Sales Technology (Salesforce, Hubspot, Highspot, etc.,) including tracking all activity and leveraging reports and sales tools
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Customer Success to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and proper hand-offs to the rest of the org
Represent the company appropriately in the field, at conferences, and during Dealer Demo Days

Required

Minimum 8 years as a sales leader in the automotive space, selling into dealerships
Proven success selling solutions or services to dealerships, with a deep understanding of dealership operations
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding monthly and annual sales goals
Demonstrated ability to recruit, build, and manage a high-performing sales team
Strong negotiation and presentation skills
Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building abilities
Experience in executing a formal sales process, from approach/prospecting to closing
Experience using a CRM methodically for sales success, preferably Salesforce
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time (drive & fly)
Applicant Must Reside along the East Coast
