Responsibilities
Account Provisioning, De-Provisioning & Access Management
Lead and oversee enterprise account provisioning and de-provisioning for DOC platforms, applications, servers, and network resources
Apply and enforce security rules to grant or revoke access to applications, servers, group folders, and shared resources
Coordinate and prioritize access requests to ensure timely, accurate, and secure fulfillment
Create and manage email accounts, distribution lists, and group mailboxes
Develop, maintain, and enhance security rules and access standards aligned with organizational policies
Provide guidance to customers on security procedures, access requests, and available services
Security Policies, Standards & Compliance
Lead the implementation and enforcement of IT security policies, standards, and procedures across the department
Support and enhance department-wide security awareness and training programs
Act as a liaison with internal teams and external agencies to resolve security-related issues
Review, assess, and recommend updates to security policies, standards, and procedures
Provide documentation and evidence required for LAB, DOJ, and internal audits
Identify opportunities for automation to reduce manual security processes
Security Monitoring, Auditing & Risk Management
Advise management on the design, implementation, and monitoring of security systems
Conduct regular access reviews and security audits to ensure compliance and prevent over-provisioning
Identify threats and security risks introduced by new systems, applications, or changes
Perform security risk assessments and provide mitigation recommendations
Partner with leadership to proactively reduce and manage organizational risk
Continuous Improvement & Special Assignments
Identify process gaps and improvement opportunities; collaborate with supervisors to implement enhancements
Audit access across multiple DOC applications to ensure compliance with least-privilege principles
Support staff development planning and participate in professional growth initiatives
Attend training sessions, conferences, and seminars as directed
Perform special projects and additional duties as assigned
Support to Technical Services & Specialized Systems
Coordinate security activities for internal systems such as WICS, DevSecOps platforms, and Email systems
Perform EMR access audits and manage security permissions through backend systems
Assist IS Technical Services Consultants, Administrators, and Specialists as needed
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in identity and access management, enterprise security operations, and compliance
Excellent communication skills

Authorized to work in the United States under the following visa categories: H4-EAD, Green Card Holder, GC-EAD, U.S. Citizen, L2s, L2-EAD, or J2-EAD
Experience in securely provisioning and de-provisioning access to networks, systems, and applications
Ability to apply and enforce security rules to grant or revoke access
Experience in leading the implementation and enforcement of IT security policies, standards, and procedures
Ability to conduct regular access reviews and security audits
Experience in identifying threats and security risks introduced by new systems, applications, or changes
Ability to perform security risk assessments and provide mitigation recommendations
Experience in identifying process gaps and improvement opportunities
