Aircraft Radio Lab Technician

Dassault Falcon Jet is seeking an Aircraft Radio Lab Technician to join their team. The Radio Lab Tech will perform inspections and maintenance on aircraft radios and batteries while adhering to safety standards and FAA regulations.

Responsibilities

Accomplishes all work while following company and industry safety standards while maintaining the highest level of quality
Adheres to all FAA Regulations, the Repair Station Quality Control Manual (RSQCM), and all other approved data
Maintain AC Batteries to include inspections, discharge, servicing and recharging
Perform inspections of main AC batteries, ELT, flashlights, etc
Reprogram ELT’s using computer-based software
Maintain current AC databases
Performing soldering applications
Perform basic wiring terminations and bundle repairs
Able to work with avionics testing equipment
Work with Quality Assurance for proper documentation
Work with AC technicians for HF and VHF radio communication checks
Programming AC laptops with AC related software
Understand the principles of AC/DC functionality
Able to read and interpret wiring schematics and blueprints
Assist Other Disciplines With Troubleshooting As Required
Contributes to a positive work environment while maintaining the utmost level of professionalism at all times
Able and willing to mentor others
Ensures all documents are signed off completely, properly and in a timely manner in accordance with the RSQCM
Maintains the utmost level of professionalism at all times
Works assigned shift and unscheduled overtime as-needed or requested
Ability to travel and perform AOG maintenance
Occasionally communicates directly with customers and vendors
Maintains a clean and organized work area at all times
Adheres to company dress standards
Perform all other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department and company

Required

High school graduate or equivalent with additional courses in aircraft maintenance in recognized service or technical school programs
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Advanced skill with Corridor, Field 6, Honeywell and Collins Aerospace manuals
Must have required tools (see approved minimum tool list)
Ability to wear and utilize personal protective equipment
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds with assistance
Comfortable in tightly enclosed areas, heights involving lifts and ladders, as well as, flying
Requires the ability to perform all physical functions of the job (hear, stand, kneel, walk, etc.)

Preferred

3+ years Falcon avionics experience preferred
Falcon approved training completed on minimum of 2 Falcon models
