Sales Intern

Responsibilities

Gain hands-on exposure to various functions within the transportation and logistics industry by actively seeking opportunities to learn new skills and expand industry knowledge
Conduct cold calls to prospective clients to understand their Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) shipping spend and identify customer needs in order to present tailored solutions
Develop an understanding of different sales scenarios, daily seller responsibilities, and strategies for maximizing KPIs to drive business growth
Participate in projects related to logistics, transportation, customer retention, and the recovery of churning customers
Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and support operational efficiencies
Build practical selling experience through the XPO 4D Sales Methodology

Required

High school diploma or equivalent; currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present clear, organized, and well-thought-out solutions to customer needs
Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills, with the ability to identify and resolve customer issues
Proven organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Energetic, results-driven work style with a strong desire to succeed
Self-motivated and adaptable, able to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment while consulting with team members and leadership as needed
