Responsibilities
Demonstrates ownership and accountability for project results, resolving any issues and solving problems throughout project life cycle
Partners with stakeholders to complete project charter outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget and timing
Manages project scope by ensuring changes to scope are documented and approved
Creates a work breakdown structure to estimate effort required for each task within project
Creates a project schedule to identify when each task will be performed; determine how results will be measured
Tracks and reports project milestones and provides timely status reports to organizational leaders
Communicates expectations to team members and stakeholders, acts as a mediator coach and motivates project team members on a proactive basis to foster the cohesive functioning of the interdisciplinary team
Maintains timely, effective communications with the department leadership regarding all events or proposed changes which might impact regulatory issues or policies or procedures
Interacts effectively with others within the Hospital District, other outside agencies, and the community
Completes a post-project evaluation to determine how well results are achieved
Develops tools and best practices for project management and execution
Selects and hires staff for programs within the department. Evaluates personnel work performance, counsel’s staff, and initiates disciplinary actions when necessary
Ensures the services are adequately, completely and competently staffed in accordance with budgeted plan; and personnel are appropriately trained and supervised
Coordinates service delivery of clinical operations, including assessment and therapeutic interventions and assures safe and efficient functioning for all areas of responsibility
Ensures services provided are in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements with consideration to timely meeting licensure/certification, mandated training and continued professional growth requirements by all personnel
Collaborates with other TCHATT/CPAN Committee by providing data, feedback, and recommendations regarding operation, review, and adherence to the programs operating and capital budgets for unit programs
Assists in the preparation of the budget. Maintains accountability to include adequate and appropriate staffing patterns, supplies, equipment and physical facilities to meet the patients’ needs
Develops, recommends, implements, reviews, and revises appropriate policies and procedures for programs

Qualification
Required
Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited college or university
2 plus years of program development/project management to include experience with reporting, and professional presentations
2 plus years of experience in behavioral health experience
1 plus years of managing and/or directly supervising staff
Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) from the Texas State Board of Social Work Examiners or the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors and must maintain certification throughout employment
Certification in Non-Aggressive Crisis Management; must be obtained while in orientation and maintained throughout employment
Current JPS recognized Basic Life Safety Certification (BLSC) and must be maintained throughout employment. May be obtained subsequent to hire
Preferred
1 plus year of experience creating and maintaining databases and reports for state grant funding
