Technician, Facilities Engineering and Maintenance

The Technician, Facilities Engineering and Maintenance will be responsible for scheduling, performing, and overseeing the maintenance and operation of facilities equipment, managing contractors, and ensuring compliance with documentation and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Performs routine facilities equipment & site inspections, utilizing maintenance software system
Coordinating efforts with outside vendors and contract service providers to accomplish objectives with preventative maintenance program
Supports Facilities Work Requests and following up on request status, providing internal customers with
Responds to and documents internal alarms from the “Process Alarm Monitoring System”
Managing system configuration and maintenance to support record keeping compliance
Supporting documentation and administrative requirements
Carries out duties in compliance with established business policies
Perform other work-related duties as assigned

Qualification

HVAC/Refrigeration certificationElectrical applications experiencePreventative maintenance softwareDocumentation skillsBasic computer skillsSafety procedures understandingCommunication skillsInterpersonal skills

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience with hand and power tools and their associated safety procedures
Experience conducting or supervising routine building/grounds maintenance
Experience with light drywall repairs and painting
Experience with light plumbing repairs and general plumbing maintenance
Understanding and application of safety procedures
Use of communication, cooperation and interpersonal skills
Documentation skills
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently
Basic computer skills include file management, MS Word, and preventative maintenance software
Position requires use of Personal Protective Equipment as posted

Preferred

Technical Degree or equivalent experience in related field
Universal certified in refrigerant handling
HVAC/Refrigeration trade schools or course certifications
Minimum 3 years of experience with all electrical applications up to 480 volts
Experience working in GMP high paced warehouse environment facility
