Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks for POS applications
Perform end-to-end testing of POS systems, including billing, payments, promotions, inventory, and integrations
Collaborate with business, development, and product teams to understand retail workflows and requirements
Execute and manage functional, regression, integration, and system testing
Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution
Ensure adherence to QA standards, best practices, and test strategies
Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, providing technical and process leadership
Participate in test planning, estimation, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing
Strong POS domain knowledge with extensive experience in the Retail industry
Hands-on experience with automation using Python, Java, or similar tools
Deep understanding of QA methodologies, test life cycle, and automation best practices
Experience testing complex, high-volume transaction systems common in retail environments
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Proven ability to mentor and lead QA teams
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
