New Grad, Entry LevelHansen Properties Inc. is seeking qualified individuals to join The Farmer's Daughter Restaurant at Normandy Farm Hotel & Conference in an upscale hospitality environment. The role of Host involves creating a pleasant atmosphere for guests, providing excellent customer service, and managing reservations.

Responsibilities
Attends and Participates in all training sessions and team meetings
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others while listening and responding in an appropriate manner
Greet guests with a warm smile to make them feel welcome
Seats guests and provides menus, following the appropriate rotation
Answers the phone politely and assists callers, including answering questions about the establishment and making reservations
Manages and confirms all Open Table reservations
Cater to the guests’ requests and needs in a prompt and professional manner to ensure an overall superior level of customer service
Performs all assigned side work and keeps host stand and lobby area clean
Follow instructions and adhere to all procedures and company policies while maintaining a high standard of conduct
Notifies and reports any problems or concerns to management
Reports to the Restaurant Manager
Qualification
Required
Must be at least 16 years old
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Previous hosting experience is a plus
Possess a basic knowledge of excellent service standards, guest relations, food, and beverage preparations as well as etiquette
Mandatory compliance with all safety regulations, procedures, policies, and rules
Available to work weekends, day and evening shifts and major holidays (Thanksgiving, Easter, & Mother's Day)
Regular and predictable attendance
Always arrives punctually in full uniform with a neat & professional appearance
Must have reliable transportation
Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, carrying, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching
