Responsibilities
Daily maintenance of a subset of firewalls in a complex infrastructure
Daily tasking will include rule updates, OS upgrades, hardware upgrade coordination, customer troubleshooting, Service Central ticket monitoring, and other administrative work
This role will have a rotational on-call support requirement, currently one week every 12 weeks
Qualification
Required
Current experience in Juniper and/or Palo Alto firewall design, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting
Daily maintenance of a subset of firewalls in a complex infrastructure
Rule updates, OS upgrades, hardware upgrade coordination, customer troubleshooting, Service Central ticket monitoring, and other administrative work
Rotational on-call support requirement, currently one week every 12 weeks
Minimum certification of Sec+ or Net+
Minimum of 4 years as a firewall administrator working specifically with Juniper and/or Palo Alto
Preferred
CISSP or Juniper/Palo Certifications will be prioritized
Certifications in Juniper and/or Palo Alto will be prioritized over other candidates
Minimal travel may be required for team meetings or training
